3 ways to increase productivity during a sales or staff meeting
I spent a lot of time in the corporate world as a salesperson. I’ve also had experience as being part of a events team. This experience has helped me develop a service as a magician to increase productivity amongst your staff.
Whether you use my services or not, these 3 helpful tips can boost your team’s productivity.
Utilize the Three E’s: Entertain, Educate, and Elevate
It is a well known fact that people learn more effectively when entertained. Presenting the message in an entertaining way will increase productivity.
This will require some creative thinking on the part of management. I will happily share some tips on this specific subject in a future post.
Entertainment also helps to break the ice. People come to meetings with baggage. Providing entertainment will increase productivity by creating a more relaxed atmosphere. It will give the staff something to look forward to.
To increase productivity during a meeting, you need more than entertainment. The Entertainment has to also educate.
Playing a trivia game using your company’s core values can increase productivity. It is educational and entertaining at the same time. It is even more productive when the staff can win money.
The trivia game is just one example. The point is to infuse the primary message into the game.
Motivation is an illusion. You can never motivate someone to do something. Motivation comes from within.
Education through entertainment will provide an incentive to stay motivated. Providing entertainment will show your staff you care about them and the company’s message. They will care because you care.
