What To Expect

You get the same intimacy as a close-up magic show but for a slightly larger audience. Also known as “Small Stage Magic”, Richard’s Parlor Magic Show is perfect for audiences of 30 to 50 guests! Think of it like a show in a large living room or conference room. The magic happens more in the performer’s hands than on the table. We want to make sure guests sitting in the back can see. The Parlor Magic Show is also great for smaller audiences if the seating arrangements have them more spread out.

Respect

It’s hard for some folks to get up on stage. Richard designed his Stage Magic Show with this in mind. No one wants to look foolish. The audience can participate in the stage magic without ever leaving their seats. No one has to come up if they don’t want to.

Specifications

The Stage Magic Show lasts 45 minutes. It can be longer or shorter per the client’s request. Ideally, the performing area should be approximately 10ft by 6ft. The performing area can be smaller. Richard just needs to know the specifications ahead of time. It does not need to be performed on a platform or raised stage as long as everyone in the audience can see. Richard provides everything he needs to perform, including a table and a portable sound system. He is happy to work with the house sound engineers if necessary. This show could play well for an audience of up to 75 or 100 guests depending on the seating arrangements. But, it’s designed for a smaller audience of 30 to 50.
