My History

My magical journey started in high school in 1999 and has turned into a thriving career. I am originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, and moved to Orange County, California, in 2014.

When you hire Richard The Magician he will always have your best interest in mind and will do whatever it takes to make you shine. He specializes in upscale entertainment, providing his services all over Southern California, specifically Orange County and LA County. You need an entertainer with a strong work ethic that you can trust. Richard makes your event his top priority. He wants you to enjoy it as much as your guests.

Audiences are made up of diverse individuals with many different backgrounds and experiences. Richard holds very high standards for himself in terms of inclusion and sensitivity. He strongly believes that if you can’t be funny without offending somebody, then you simply can’t be funny.

Company Background

Richard The magician has been a magic practitioner since 1999. He filed articles of incorporation in 2003, creating his parent company Magic Makers Entertainment. Under Magic Makers Entertainment, Richard runs two websites: this one, which was designed for corporate entertainment, and SoCalKidsMagic.com, which is designed for children’s entertainment. Magic Makers Entertainment carries General Liability Insurance and has business licenses in the state of Florida, the city of Orange, and the city of Irvine. Not all cities require a business license. Richard can also provide an additional insured certificate upon request.
